AiDIN Copilot is a dynamic analytical assistant that accelerates workflow creation in Alteryx Designer. It understands your requirements, provides tailored tool suggestions, and even adds tools directly to the canvas for you. Key capabilities include:
- New and experienced data workers to solve business problems even faster: AiDIN Copilot places tools directly on the Alteryx Designer canvas, reduces the time spent on manual configurations and accelerates the analytics process.
- All employees regardless of technical acumen to make data-driven decisions using AI: Users simply chat with AiDIN Copilot, and it responds with best-practice answers to guide the creation of analytics workflows in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx’s leading drag-and-drop desktop analytics solution.
- IT to use AI in a governed and trusted environment: Built on Alteryx’s Responsible AI Principles, IT leaders can trust in Alteryx’s governance capabilities to serve as guardrails to democratizing the power of AI.

Playbooks is a new feature in Auto Insights that saves you time and brings new ideas to life by automatically building you a demo solution based on your role, company, or industry. With Playbooks, you can start your process in third gear and avoid time-consuming steps like ideating your use case or gaining access to the data you need. Playbooks can even use your real data as a starting point, recommending use cases based on the data’s structure & topics.
We’re also excited to preview Magic Pages at Inspire an upcoming innovation built to make reporting and information sharing faster, more flexible, and more collaborative.
Scale Effectively with Designer and Server
While we’re excited about the potential of AI, our customers’ most trusted and favored flagship products remain at the core focus of Alteryx. The newly released 2024.1 version empowers analysts with innovative features that supercharge workflow efficiency and data connectivity. Key highlights include:
- The enhanced workflow templates accelerate the workflow creation process and ensure consistent design, enabling faster generation of actionable insights
- Seamlessly manage workflows and schedules with Transfer Asset Ownership in Server, even during employee transitions, ensuring continuity and efficiency.
- This release introduces major data connectivity improvements. Databricks Unity Catalog Volumes simplifies data loading and Data Connection Manager (DCM) Environment Connection Handling automates connection updates across environments.
- Cloud Execution for Desktop, allows customers to extend, enhance, automate, and run desktop-created workflows in the cloud. Today, we’re thrilled to announce the release extension of Cloud Execution for Desktop to Azure and the forthcoming extension to GCP for broader choice and a smoother transition than ever before!
Enhancing Cloud Capabilities
We’ve heard how crucial it is to customers to use Alteryx in the cloud. We introduced the Alteryx Analytics Cloud in 2023, And since then, we’ve continued to deliver new capabilities.
- By the end of June, Designer Cloud will have comprehensive support for all Prep and Blend use cases in Designer, with over 50 tools to choose from. And, even more, our interactive results grid has been upgraded this year with transformation suggestions, powered by Alteryx AiDIN. - Alteryx Location Intelligence brings the geospatial capabilities that you know and love from Designer to the cloud. Geocoding unlocks deeper geographic analysis by accurately pinpointing exact locations and visually identifying patterns and outliers. Travel-Based Trade Area optimizes locations based on drive and walk times to reach target audiences effectively. These capabilities, all powered by TomTom’s global data, empower smarter location-driven strategic decisions across industries and regions.
- Also, now a part of the Alteryx Platform is Alteryx App Builder, a no-code solution to build applications on top of your data. App Builder’s intuitive no-code, drag-and-drop interface simplifies complex workflows, automates manual tasks and processes, and puts insights into the hands of your team faster and easier than ever – all within the familiar Alteryx environment. Apps are easy to build, and self-service to use, allowing for a no-code experience on both ends.
- Alteryx Plans is an orchestration capability that enables the automation and orchestration of workflows across Alteryx products, on-premises and cloud, as well as external services and third-party applications. It allows running multiple tasks sequentially or in parallel, defining execution rules based on upstream task status, using metadata across tasks, calling APIs, and sending notifications
